Jocelyn Pension Consulting, LLC was formed to provide independent advice, consulting and recordkeeping services to employers who maintain or wish to establish retirement plan programs for their employees. As an independent recordkeeping and consulting firm, Jocelyn Pension Consulting, LLC is not affiliated with any investment company, bank, insurance company or financial institution.

Robert A. Jocelyn | President
Bob is a Principal of Jocelyn Pension Consulting, LLC and has been involved in the pension industry for over 20 years. He is a graduate of Middlebury College, Middlebury, Vermont and also a graduate of the University of Denver College of Law. He is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries, the American Bar Association and the Hawaii Bar Association. Prior to founding Jocelyn Pension Consulting, LLC, he was President of Western Pension Service Corporation for over 15 years. Western Pension Service Corporation was a large regional independent recordkeeping firm, located in Northern California, that was acquired by a large national company. Outside of the office, Bob enjoys travel with his wife and family, biking and snow skiing in Colorado and the beach in Hawaii.
Nick Jocelyn | Vice President
Nick is a Principal of Jocelyn Pension Consulting, LLC and has held the title of Vice President since 2006. Nick is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries, and Nick has a B.A. in International Studies from Middlebury College. Outside of the office, Nick enjoys skiing, practicing yoga, coaching Little League, and hiking with his dog.
Denise Reder | Senior Consultant
Denise has been a Senior Consultant with Jocelyn Pension Consulting, LLC since 2002. Denise has over 16 years of professional experience in the pension industry, and prior to joining Jocelyn Pension Consulting, LLC, in 2002, Denise was a consultant at Western Pension Service Corporation and KPMG. Denise is a graduate of Golden Gate University. Outside of the office, Denise is married and has two boys who keep her very busy with their school and sports schedules.
Sally Pasternack | Senior Consultant
Sally has been a Senior Consultant with Jocelyn Pension Consulting, LLC since 2006. Sally has over 16 years of experience in retirement plan administration, and prior to joining Jocelyn Pension Consulting, she worked for Western Pension Service Corporation. She has a B.A. degree from Elmira College. Outside of the office, Sally can be found singing with the church choir, walking in San Rafael while reading a book, and traveling to exotic places with her family.
Dan Geller | Senior Consultant
Dan has been a Senior Consultant with Jocelyn Pension Consulting, LLC since 2007. Dan is an American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA). He graduated from U.C. Berkeley with a B.A. in Economics and has over 20 years of qualified retirement plan experience including 8 years with Western Pension Service Corporation. Outside of the office, Dan enjoys riding bikes with his wife and two children, skiing, and martial arts.
Charlotte Blumenberg | Plan Document Specialist
Charlotte has held the position of Plan Document Specialist for Jocelyn Pension Consulting, LLC since 2002. Prior to joining the firm, she held the same position at Western Pension Service Corporation for 13 years. Charlotte is responsible for preparing each client’s Plan Document, the required supporting documents as well as working with the Internal Revenue Service to obtain favorable determination letters for qualified plans. Outside of the office, Charlotte and her husband, David, are recent empty nesters. She likes hiking, cooking, baking pies, and engaging in philosophical discussions.
